iOS 9.3: an issue prohibits the use of hyperlinks in the mobile OS from Apple – 01net.com

iOS 9.3 introduces a lot of new nice but also knows some mishaps. After having to remove the update of iOS 9.3 for iPhone and iPad some a bit older, Apple may have to make a correction quickly to the latest version of its operating system.

It would appear that some users are experiencing problems opening hyperlinks for Mail, Messages or third party applications. When they hit the link, nothing happens, the page will not open. But the worst is that applications can also simply plant. It must then force them to close for work again properly.

A general problem, special situations

The variety of situations does not facilitate the riding bug. For some, nothing works over any application using Feedly, Outlook, Flipboard, etc, others arrive to open a link in a new Chrome window only by making a long click, others have solved the problem by disabling javascript since Settings / Safari / Advanced. However, this solution does not seem to work with all terminals.

Because the problem seems to affect users of several models of iPhone and even iPad. Apple forums and see the iPhone owners 6 / 6s or iPad Air complain to meet these concerns.

More mysterious still, some users say they do not experience the problem immediately after the update but a day or more after installing 9.3.

Attempted Solution

Apple Support recommended that some of the people face the bug to reset the settings to their iPhone, also advising them to make a backup of their data via iTunes or the cloud.

But this approach is not working, or not for everyone. Some users say they have followed this procedure and released their device, iOS 9.3. Their aircraft then turned and perfectly until they restore an update … For others, it did nothing at all.

To believe in the comments on Twitter and Apple forums, the Cupertino company is aware of this bug and its engineers are working on an update, (possibly be iOS 9.3.1), which should be made available in the next two days. Last January, Safari on iOS and Mac OS X had already encountered problems that made it unusable. Apple had then responded very quickly …
