Ardan Arac, Chief product at Google, said in May that this partnership will allow the search engine to provide its users increasingly relevant results, relaying information in real time. A similar operation was conducted between 2009 and 2011, but had not been renewed.
Since 2009, Twitter also has a similar agreement with Bing !, Microsoft’s search engine competitor to Google. This new visibility could be saving for the social network, which is struggling to develop its hearing.
