We will not return to the main features of the box that have already been unveiled at the fourth Show Hello there almost two months (see our news). This time the ISP mainly provided details on marketing and price of the various options.
New Livebox : between 2 and € 5 more per month, Sosh ignored
New Livebox will thus proposed from next Thursday (May 19 ) on offers Play and Jet Orange . Indeed, we have had confirmation that it will not be available (at least for now) with the Zen entry level subscription. It will be the same for clients Sosh .
Side tariff, discussed and 39.99 respectively 47.99 euros per month for Play and Jet, plus 3 euros per month for the rental of the box, a total of 42.99 and 50.99 euros per month. This is an increase of 2 and 5 euros from the formulas Livebox Play currently available. In addition, we must also add 50 euros commissioning fee for the TV decoder.
However, the FTTH customers should benefit from a discount equivalent to the increase in the first year, at least this is what suggested representatives of Orange during the conference that we attended. A point that will confirm when setting online quotes and complete fee schedule.
A priori, the new offers will be available for everyone from 19 May (with a FTTH or xDSL line). The operator explained that against us by former customers will have to migrate to the latest jobs if they wish to enjoy the New Livebox . Orange says it will use the launch to simplify its range but also the Open Offer (quad play), but deliver us more details at this time.

The difference between Play and Jet deals primarily plays at the options and probably at speeds on fiber versions, as is currently the case. With the high-end offering, the media center has a TV recorder with 450 GB of storage. Services airbox comfort and Storage Livebox are also included.
The optional Comfort AirBox includes a SIM card with 2 GB of data per month. Orange adds that “ up 10 GB of data bucket in key moments (installation, internet failure) is provided and 10GB is available for 3 months at launch for all new customers of new Box ssouscrivant first to Airbox Comfort . ” We also learned that the operator will offer data refills, but without specifying the price at the moment.
Meanwhile, Storage Livebox to take a hard 1TB drive in its Livebox (in the modem case, unlike the TV recorder that is in the media center). This storage space will be accessed remotely via the application Cloud Orange . In any case, it will again perform 10 euros commissioning by equipment airbox Comfort costs and / or Storage Livebox .
If these two options are included by default in the Jet offer, Play customers will be able to subscribe to it separately, and costs € 5 per month per option. Costs 10 euros setting service will also be charged.
New Livebox to push fiber Orange
