7 million accounts hacked Dropbox

A user says at Pastebin hacking seven million accounts on Dropbox . It would have recovered usernames and passwords. The remote hosting platform yet denies this. According to a document released Monday on the Pastebin website, a user indicates hacking 6,937,081 Dropbox accounts and published in part of his loot on this site. He published the email address and password of the latter. Dropbox defends itself by stating that there was no security breach within its service.

In addition, the online storage site states that the accounts concerned have been disabled to quickly protect user data. Or the hackers behind this new case have indicated that they would publish other databases when they allegedly received Bitcoins.



Dropbox ensures not have been hacked

Meanwhile, Dropbox denied any attempted intrusion and shows it in a blog post. The site would not have been the theft of IDs, e-mail addresses or passwords. He stated that this information has been stolen from other sites, not related to Dropbox accounts. The group said that hackers have tried to connect to others and Dropbox accounts but steps have been taken to detect any suspicious activity on Dropbox and passwords are automatically reset when such activity occurs. Users who use the same password to access different sites are however expected to change. Dropbox reminded to mix in a variety of password characters, numbers and insert case sensitive. The two-step activation is also available
