“Hello! Earth you hear me?” By this tweet that the robot was asleep Philae on the comet “tchouri” for seven months officially said he was awakened in the night from Saturday to Sunday. That was seven months we had no news of the robot.

Signals for two minutes. The robot Philae, who was asleep on the comet “tchouri” for seven months, woke up in the night from Saturday to Sunday, said Jean-Yves Le Gall, president of CNES, the French space agency. “We were able to retrieve signals from him for two minutes and 40 seconds of data,” he said. “Philae is alive!”

An expected revival. The awakening of Philae, robot laboratory equipped with several instruments, was held Saturday at 10:28 p.m., European time, said the ESA. The robot had been dumped by the European probe on the comet “tchouri” on November 12, after a ten-year journey in space. His landing was hectic. It bounced several times before landing between cliffs in a dimly lit area. He managed to work for several tens of hours before dozing, its solar panels that provide energy is not sufficiently illuminated.

The comet, escorted by Rosetta, approaching Sun, Philae finally managed to get out of its torpor.
