Chrome: a new extension “Save To Google” – ZDNet France

Google recently introduced a new extension dedicated to its Chrome browser. Dubbed “Save to Google”, it saves just by clicking a button, web favorites in the cloud to recover from any position either fixed or mobile.

Specifically, the links are no longer stored through the browser but in a separate space, accessible from a dedicated web address: google.com/save. Then simply go to this address to find favorites set aside. These are presented in the form of modular vignettes rather like when you open a new tab in Firefox.

With this plug-in, Google intends to offer the same experience as third-party services in the same field and and increase retention of its users. Moreover, it is also Microsoft’s goal with Edge or Apple Safari offering more or less the same opportunity to deport her favorites for later access, regardless of the terminal used.
