Smartphones : the top iFixit place the Galaxy S7 in the back of the pack – ZDNet France

throughout the year, the technicians of the specialist has set apart the smartphones put on the market to assess their “reparability”. With dimensions still more fine, access to the guts of these devices proves to be more complicated. Still, some manufacturers are doing visibly better than others, if one believes the ratings given by iFixit.

Thus, on the first place of the podium we find the LG G5 with a note of 8/10. The smartphone is modular, that has not found its audience, and is lauded for his facility to be serviced or repaired. Behind, there is a grouping pattern to 7/10 with the last of the Google Pixel and the iPhone 7 from Apple. The first ones were, however, disappointed the technicians from iFixit because their opening is too delicate. On the side of the apple, the specialist said that it should not be less than 4 screwdriver different to open the beast…

The iPhone 6TH is doing less well with 6/10, which points to the fragility of the module TouchID when trying to change the screen. Finally, in the bottom of the ranking we find the Samsuyng Galaxy S7, which gets a poor 3/10. The terminal is thus described as a sandwich with the adhesive as the latter is present throughout the terminal, reducing the possibilities of repairs and change of parts.
