In proposing its Series 2 Active Tourer, the automaker BMW shakes up some of its taboo, a revolution.
While BMW’s reputation rests on his “big” engines placed in longitudinal position and its rear-wheel drive, the Series 2 Active Tourer out of place in the landscape with its modest three-cylinder installed in a transverse position and design in traction. Aside from that, the Series 2 Active Tourer faded even more in the landscape it is a minivan, a type of vehicle which was quite popular in the 1990s and 2000s.
On a saturated European market, the German manufacturer plays the card of the rupture, offset against the competition.
Despite this, stamped BMW Active Tourer 2 this series is meant practically almost as alert and spirited the rest of the range, a feat made possible by increasing the vehicle unnecessarily. As required by the tradition of the German mark, the interior is dressed to the nines.
It should be stressed however that the height of the building is not excessive while providing space to big guys, but that despite the volume of the minivan, the storage trunk is a bit disappointing.
