From WP 8.1 to Windows 10. operators decide

So, future holders of Windows Mobile devices 10 will have access to updates, Microsoft ultimately deciding the availability of software upgrades. These will then pushed simultaneously on all compatible terminals and with all operators. But they will not remain on the sidelines despite everything, reports ZDNet.com.

The Windows Insider program will continue after the release of Windows 10 Mobile. Registrants will have early access to updates. The operators will participate in the test program. And according to ZDNet, they might even go even earlier versions or “builds” of the OS.

The updates should be more fluid with Windows 10. But attention, upgrade of Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows Mobile 10, free for all users, it will however always subject to the control of network operators. Some owners of smartphones WP 8.1 should therefore wait longer than others to have the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile OS.
