Skully AR-1 2015: the future motorcycle helmet “intelligent” – TF1

A small California company is creating a little mayhem (buzz in plain English) this week by launching its project headphones “intelligent” Skully AR-1 . For funding through participatory platform Indiegogo with a goal of $ 250,000 in one month, they come to collect almost one million dollars (750,000 euros) via 700 contributors, in just 3 days!

The principle of this motorcycle helmet is simple. It features a screen at the bottom right of the visor, whose role is to head-up display. as it allows you to view satellite navigation (GPS), information on speed, and is also acts as mirror through a digital camera 180 degrees arranged on the back of the helmet. The Skully is also connected, via Bluetooth, to receive calls from the phone directly into the helmet, or his music, and is controlled via a voice command.

Scheduled for May 2015 the Skully will not be given. The base price is 1,499 dollars (1,120 euros) , while a launch edition was scheduled to 1,399 dollars (1,050 euros) in the United States, and the pack of the first 25 copies have already been sold at $ 1,299 room (970 euros).
