Apple partners with Deloitte to push iOS in the enterprise – ZDNet France

Apple has entered into a new alliance with the giant consulting Deloitte. It could help to increase the presence of the iPhone and the iPad in the professional world.

In the framework of the agreement, Deloitte will open in a new unit consisting of 5000 specialists in iOS responsible for advising the clients on the way to adopt smartphones and tablets Apple within their organization. This unit will have teams in the three major regions : Asia/Pacific, EMEA and the Americas.

Deloitte, and Apple will also work together on a new service called EnterpriseNext. In a word, the service will help businesses develop a mobile strategy around iOS devices as well as to create iOS apps tailored to their needs.

For Apple, the partnership is in line with its previous agreements with IBM, Cisco, and SAP, all with the aim of making Apple devices more attractive to companies via apps Cloud custom.

This is all the more urgent that Apple and other device manufacturers are facing declining demand from consumers for smartphones and tablets.
