Windows RT soon without Office? – Clubic

  While reports are rife about the features of Windows 9 alias Threshold, Microsoft would also carry out some modifications to Windows RT. Windows RT embodies the work of Microsoft on the ARM architecture. Mainly deployed on the shelves of the range area, the OS is a lightweight version of Windows with environmental Modern UI and the classic desktop.

However at present, the Office available within Windows RT is not as flexible as that of Windows. It is not possible to install traditional applications ( legacy ). Only a few software offered by Microsoft therein including the RT desktop Office suite and Internet Explorer browser.

According to the blog Myce, Microsoft is rethinking ergonomics Windows RT simply by removing the Bureau. The system would then become fully optimized for touch use. Previously we learned that Microsoft aimed to merge Windows RT and Windows Phone. This is also Julie larson-Green, then head developed by Microsoft, who had said at the UBS Global Technology Conference last November terminals.

It could also mean that applications Office for the time being confined to the Bureau finally been optimized for the Modern UI interface alongside OneNote.
