A little less than a week after arrival of iOS9, Apple has made available on Monday, the second version of its operating system for the connected watch, watchOS 2. The new version allows to download including native applications, which therefore do not require an iPhone in order to close enjoy it, to benefit from a reduced display when the watch is charging or to respond to his voice mail.

The watch also gains a new display mode. When charging, the screen switches to landscape mode for a better reading when the watch is placed on a table. There are also two new dials, “Time-lapse” and “Photo” that display full wallpapers.

Next, contact groups are present in the Quick menu to contacts. Exit therefore the limit to 12 contacts, the user can now encode more.

Please note that with the arrival of watchOS 2, developers now have access to these complications on the different dials Apple Watch. Concretely, this will place the third-party application information directly on the dials of the watch. Soon be found, for example, a button to “check in” to permanently Swarm application on the watch face.

2 watchOS be downloaded directly from the Watch app installed on an iPhone (minimum iPhone 5).

A clue about the impending marketing of Apple Watch in Belgium

Note that the description of watchOS 2 mentions that the new version supports the French “Belgian”, in addition to Belgian Dutch. Our flat country is clearly targeted by this update, which finally suggests its imminent commercialization in Belgium.

It may be thought Apple had the desire to market the Apple Watch when opening the Apple Store in Brussels, but the company could not make it in time saw the bug met the first final version of watchOS 2.

It is not excluded that the marketing of the Apple Watch Belgium is imminent. Probably a matter of days.
