The probable future Galaxy S8. – Venture Beat
We know now everything, or almost, of the future Galaxy S8. The next high-end smartphone has been described in detail by Evan Blass, a journalist for Venture Beats known for the reliability of its information. It confirms – and crippled – the many rumours about the phone in recent months.
The screen sizes, first of all. Samsung would decline his mobile phone two diagonals of 5.8 and 6.2-inch, without increasing drastically the size of the device. To achieve this, the main button located usually at the bottom of the screen to be deleted.

The RAM on the other hand would not be increased compared to the Galaxy S7 and would remain at 4 Gb of ram. The storage capacity should be increased : up to 64 Gb instead of 32, still expandable to 256 Gb additional through microSD card. The connectors would adopt the USB Type-C, while – foot, nose-to-Apple – jack would be preserved.
Without a button in front which would then be the fingerprint sensor ? Far innovate with a fingerprint recognition system built in to the screen as hoped, Samsung the déporterait just at the back of the device. Its location, right next to the photo objective, let us, however, doubtful. There is a risk to leave many fingerprints on the lens.
A dock with HDMI and the wizard Bixby
As stated in the Guardian a few days ago, an optional accessory would also connect the smartphone to a screen. One might as well control the keyboard and mouse, a desktop version of Android. This dock HDMI equivalent to the system Continuum, Microsoft would be baptized DeX.
Finally, there is still little detail on this subject, but the Galaxy S8 will be the first Samsung smartphone to integrate the new wizard of the brand. Bixby, inherited from the redemption of’viv (founded by the creators of Siri). A key located on one of the slices of the device it would even be specifically dedicated to them.
