Video The Earth photographed daily for six months. This is the Christmas gift of a German astronaut returned from a six-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

For six months, Alexander Gerst, a German astronaut, photographed Earth from the International Space Station (ISS). The European Space Agency (ESA) has made a time-lapse of six minutes and posted it on Youtube on December 22.

The set offers a sumptuous spectacle, close to CG, where parade northern lights, city lights, continents and oceans or sunrise or sunset. Alexander Gerts spent six months in the Space Station as part of the mission Blue Dot. He returned to Earth on November 10.
