Xavier Niel Orange Switzerland bought 2.8 billion – BBC

The French businessman Xavier Niel will redeem funds the mobile operator Orange Switzerland through its Capital NJJ private holding in the amount of 2.8 billion Swiss francs (2.3 billion euros), according to Apax Partners who advised funds.

Orange Switzerland was sold in 2012 by the French operator Orange to these funds advised by Apax Partners for an enterprise value of two billion francs.

“As a new owner of Orange Switzerland, NJJ Capital will bring continuity to Orange Switzerland customers and its employees and its leadership,” said in a statement Xavier Niel, founder of Iliad in France.
