Free Mobile now offers 4G package the general public with the offer of the most important mobile data.

Free Mobile just announced an update of its package. The proposed offer to 19.99 euros since the launch of the operator, in 2012, now offers the largest 4G envelope market. Instead of 20GB proposed so far, subscribers now benefit from mobile data 50GB. The supply of mobile data on the 3G network remains unchanged (3 GB).

The other operators offering envelopes clearly less advantageous. Bouygues Telecom, second, on its package offers 40GB B & amp; You, Orange 20GB on its Origami Jet package, and SFR limited to 15GB packages they offer all three at the same price of 69.99 euros per month.

This change without price change, came a day after the presentation of financial results by the group. Iliad, parent company of Free, announced a 16% increase in its first half net profit to 163 million euros, and graze the bar of 11 million customers on the mobile.

Free aims a coverage rate of 60% of the French population on its own 4G network by the end of the year. He was ranked fourth mobile operator in terms of rising and falling rates. Free disputes, however, the results of this study.

In 3G, Free Mobile is still using in part the mobile network of Orange roaming. “We’ve got new 1800 MHz frequencies that allow us to improve the quality and coverage of our network from 2016. We now expect bids on frequency 700 MHz. We are on a good trend to be autonomous, “commented the CEO of Iliad, Maxime Lombardini.
