In China, Samsung has stopped losing feathers this year, caught between Apple on the high end and local manufacturers in the entry. The world number one now intends to regain control. There will be next March the new Galaxy S7 but in the meantime the South Korean heals the mid-market with the new Galaxy A9.
To stand out, Samsung dare a giant screen 6 inches, a size rarely offered by the smartphone manufacturers. The giant has nevertheless already rubbed with this format with the now defunct Mega range. The screen has the Super AMOLED technology with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Hard to say if the argument size XXL convince Chinese consumers but success Rating ranges in the country can be considered as an argument … Beyond the screen, A9 features a Snapdragon processor 652 eight-core, supported by 3 GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (expandable via microSD), all under Android 5.1. Note the presence of a massive 4000 mAh battery, autonomy has become a real selling point.
The price of the Galaxy A9 was not disclosed. Its sale is currently reserved for the Chinese market.
