Bouygues Telecom passengers traveling in the Shuttle or the TGV, can now enjoy a fi “Very High Speed” on their smartphone or touch pad.
As of today, travelers on the Channel Tunnel to get to England can now use 4G to access the internet during their journey under the sea. Bouygues Telecom is currently the only French operator to offer 4G in the Channel Tunnel. Thus, in the direction Paris. – London (South Tunnel), Bouygues Telecom subscribers can enjoy mobile internet at high speed under the sea level from May 2015, they will also benefit from an agreement 4G roaming with one of the English traders in the North tunnel.
Eurotunnel mobilized telecom operators EE, O2, Vodafone UK and Bouygues Telecom for the commissioning of 4G in the Tunnel. From a technical point of view, the application of technology has helped to install a wireless, 100 meters below sea level and the entire South Tunnel.
