They were able to penetrate further into the computer system of the organization. They were able to enter secure servers where they recovered files on domain names, addresses and user passwords, further indicated Icann.



Limited damage

Hackers have also used recovered passwords to fraudulently enter the Wikipedia page of the agency, on his blog and in referencing a directory of web addresses owners. The blog and the book has not been tampered with, further noted ICANN without specifying who might be behind the attack.
