the technical investigations carried out by the central fight against cybercrime (OCLCTIC) led investigators to the IP address (identification number of the internet connection, note) of this young man, have said police and judicial sources.

His possible role in this matter yet to be determined, the sources said, adding that computer equipment was seized.

The young man is being transferred to local the territorial security of Paris, in charge of the investigation into the threatening calls made to Parisian high schools.

“the investigation seeks to establish whether there is a link between calls to the Parisian high schools and threats against the provincial institutions, including in Lyon. Nothing is excluded, “said a judicial source.

Monday, February 1, and for the third time in less than a week, high schools and french and British colleges had received anonymous telephone threats, causing sheltering students or evacuation.

Several prestigious Parisian secondary schools, including Henry IV and Louis-le-Grand, and the French School of Rome, had already been the target of “threats” in late January, in a very high threat of terrorism context, after the attacks of 13 November in the French capital. Other schools in the province had also received threatening messages.

Each time, the police found nothing and colleges had resumed their normal operation.

A scenario similar was also produced on the same dates in the UK, in the Birmingham area (center). On 1 February, six schools of the British West Midlands and two in Glasgow Scottish town had been evacuated because of new threats.

On Monday, about 2,000 people were evacuated from a high school in Belfort and hundreds of Montreux-Château College (Territoire de Belfort), after malicious call indicating the presence of bombs in these facilities.
