[UPDATE] Nintendo announces the release of a mini-NES November 12, 2016 – DigitalVersus

Thirty years after the release of the NES, Nintendo announces the imminent return of the iconic video game, in a Mini format. Nintendo Classic Mini will come with thirty games, including Pac Man, Mario Bros and Zelda.

We now know more about the contents of the pack 30 NES games, but also on the price asked for extra retro joystick, which is set at 9.99 dollars (probably € 9.99 in our countries)

Here is the complete list of 30 titles provided in the form of emulation and not of cartridge, with the new NES.

  retrogaming fans and nostalgic for the NES era, rejoice: the famous console is back. Except this time, it fits in the hand. Nintendo has indeed reveal that the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) will again commercially available in France on 12 November. Much more compact than the model released in 1986, it retains the same retro look. However, no cartridges here, you will unfortunately leave your games in their trunk from the attic, as Nintendo seems to have opted for a form of emulator. If
in its announcement Nintendo does not give details on the technical specifications the console, we know that it will come with a USB cable and an HDMI cable. Comes with a joystick, it will also be compatible with Wii controllers and Wii U.

The mini NES sign the come back of Zelda, Mario Bros, Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Balloon Fight Final Fantasy. No less than 30 classic Nintendo this era will be pre-installed in the console. The Japanese firm did not mention any connectivity, may be expected that it is impossible to install others.

The Nintendo Mini Classic will go on sale on November 12, to 60 euros.
