The French Withings connected announces new shows activity in its range, the Steel, which contains the activity tracking features and appearance of the watch previous models but makes the metal housing more affordable.
Withings accept its range with the announcement Monday of the watch activity Steel. The newcomer takes the main functions of the variant Activity Pop, tested earlier this year in our columns, but abandons any plastic in favor of a steel case. Design and manufacturing quality are thus earn, while maintaining a relatively accessible price positioning, with a price set at 170 euros. The bracelet remains synthetic, when the watch Activity (first name, launched in 2014), offers real leather and a sapphire crystal
For the rest, the fundamentals are kept. There is therefore a glass touch, able to receive instructions via a pat, and a dual dial displaying the time and counting not made in the day. Combined with dedicated mobile application (Withings Health Mate), the range also promises to automatically detect the type of physical activity practiced by the wearer and provides various functions like alarm clock, measuring the quality of sleep, etc.
Activity Steel is now marketed via the Withings site.
