This time it’s done: the first major update to Windows 10 is available for download. Microsoft starts deployment and a part of users can recover approximately 3 GB of the “Fall update”. As for build 10586 system, this particular version is now identified by a new number: 1511 to November 2015
The fall update is the first major revision of Windows 10 . It includes all the elements that registered testers Windows Insiders program have been trying since the system was released in commercial release on 29 July. They are particularly numerous and are distinguished by new features, bug fixes and optimizations.
The availability of this Fall Update means several things. On the one hand, those who have the final version in July (build 10240) can recover and enjoy the news via a standard update via Windows Update. On the other hand, those who had not yet made the migration from Windows 7 and 8.1 will soon be able to do directly to this particular version. Finally, when the new ISO images available, users can prepare a USB stick and perform a clean install. They can directly use the Windows 7 key and 8.1 via the new activation system.
A interface and a more consistent Start menu
The improvements are many and quite diverse. The Start menu to start, gaining a few extra opportunities. Important contributions for companies
This update also contains several important improvements for business. In particular, it introduces Windows Update for Business. Companies can choose whether they want to stay on the main branch or the one for the professional world, which in fact corresponds to the N-1 release. Specifically, the public will be on the 10586 branch (new build) while companies may choose to stay on the 10240, while continuing to receive updates corrective day.
