Siri has spilled the beans. According to Apple staff assistant, its developer conference will take place from 13 to 17 June. Subject of rumors in recent days, the date of the WWDC was still unknown. To find out, so it was enough just to ask Siri.

Once this information unveiled by Siri, Apple opened a website dedicated to the event. It includes in particular a kind of poem that welcomes the visitor, based puns in reference to the features of Apple’s operating systems. We also learn that the opening conference, the usual time announcements, will be held at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. It was there that had been presented in September 2015 6s iPhone and iPad Pro.

The return of Mac OS?

A total of more than 1,000 Apple engineers who will provide their expertise to developers in 150 sessions to be held on them at the Moscone Center. To participate, it will however pay no less than 1599 dollars.

Last year, Tim Cook was announced the launch of Apple Music, the first music streaming service of the brand, but also updates its various operating systems such as iOS and OS X. This year, we expect new features and certainly the presentation of iOS and OS X 10 10.12.

The operating system for Apple computers – which celebrated its 15th anniversary in March – could also occasionally be reappointed MacOS; a way to unify its name with its other systems: iOS, and watchOS tvOS. A homecoming for OS X that had lost its “Mac” in 2012 with the launch of Mountain Lion.
