Orange Bouygues falling telecom stocks on Euronext Paris – Le Point

The failure of negotiations between Bouygues Telecom and Orange to dramatic headlines of the telecoms sector in the Paris Stock Exchange.

9 h 21, Bouygues clinched 15.77% to 29, 60 euros, Iliad (parent company of Free) of 13.45% to 193.80 euros, Numericable, SFR 12.23% to 32 euros and Orange plunged 5.20% to 14.60 euros in a market down 0.44%.

A market with four operators can be viable

“If operators keep their nerve and avoid from inconsiderate in promoting wars, the market is four viable, “said Sébastien Soriano, president of the telecom regulatory authority (ARCEP), France Info, three days after the failure of the marriage between Orange and Bouygues for the purchase of Bouygues Telecom. In France, four major operators share the market of mobile telephony since the arrival of Free Mobile in January 2012.

Le Figaro , Martin Bouygues, owner of Bouygues group , pointed to Xavier Niel, Free boss, responsible for this failure.
