Salah Abdeslam again heard by investigators about the terrorist attacks of March 22 – The Capital

Salah Abdeslam is under arrest in connection with attacks in Paris, but at this stage of the investigation, not under the Brussels attacks. The federal prosecutor said he would not comment on the rehearing of Salah Abdeslam.

Abdeslam Salah was arrested on March 18 in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek after the run for four months. The next day, he was presented to a judge, who placed him under arrest in connection with bombings in Paris.

Initially, the suspect has not consent to his surrender to France, but changed his mind a week later. Last Thursday, his lawyer Sven Mary, said his client would be returned to France in a few weeks at the earliest, to the extent that a Belgian investigating judge initially wanted to question him about his involvement in the shooting which took place in the wake of a raid in Forest on March 15.

on March 15, four Belgian and two French police agents accounted search a dwelling located Dries street in Forest. Investigators believed the sites were uninhabited. A shooting broke out.

Belkaïd Mohamed, an Algerian of 35 years, was shot dead by police. In the apartment, investigators found two detonators, Kalashnikov, eleven magazines, a book about Salafism, a flag of the Islamic State and fingerprints Salah Abdeslam. No trace of explosives has however been found.
