Smartphones, tablets …: understand the use of the mobile Internet in France in eight developments – TF1

The consumption data via a mobile almost doubled in France in a year and now exceeds one gigabyte (GB) per month in 2015 for active customers Internet , according to the digital barometer presented Friday by the Telecom Regulatory Authority (ARCEP) and the General Council of the economy (CGE).

France, above the European average. More broadly, if 86% of French people regularly surf the internet, fixed and mobile, which places France at the top the European average (76%), this concerns almost all 12-29 years (98-100%) against only 38% of 70 and over and still 76% of 60-69 years.

More connected graduates. The study also distinguishes a change Internet usages based on degrees obtained since only 44% of non-graduates go on the Web when substantially all university graduates use.

The fifth survey, conducted by the Research Centre for the Study and Observation of Living Conditions (CREDOC), was conducted in face-to-face with a sample of 2209 people representative of the French population aged 12 and over, by the quota method.
