The 5.6% increase in sales of business computers helped identify -1.1% to the overall decline in PC volumes marketed in France in the second quarter.

There has been no improvement for computer sales in France in the second quarter 2016. According to Gartner, they are actually edged down 1.1% to 1.88 million units in comparative period of 2015. on a west European market it -even down 0.9% between April and June, the Hexagon get out however much better than Germany and the United Kingdom. By stimulating the professional segment, they lessened the negative impact of 7% drop in the consumer segment. “The free update to Windows 10 delayed personal purchases” , says Isabelle Durand, analyst at Gartner.

For its part, ASUS has sold 2.2% more volume compared to the second quarter 2016 and thus picked up 13.5% of the French market. Note, finally, the strong growth of Acer’s sales (+ 21.8%) who gets the 4 Dell number one position by winning 12.9% of quarterly PC sales in France.
