30 Rise, the first smartphone to carry Orange – 01net

Bic was known, a basic phone ready for use, marketed in self-service by Orange few years ago. The operator renews its operation, this time an Android smartphone, the Rise 30. 69.90 euros, the device is available today, with a charged battery and SIM card attached, as part of a prepaid offer with no obligation. It includes 30 minutes of calls, 50 SMS and 50 MB of internet, available upon activation of the line for a month. After identification of the latter with the customer service, the user will receive unlimited calls and SMS and 600 MB, also for a month.

A wide distribution network

This package can be found in self-service in some tobacconists and newspaper distributors in supermarkets or on the Orange website . Despite its low price, The Rise 30 is not a disposable smartphone and it is possible, once the credit exhausted, recharge the Mobicarte through the formulas proposed by the operator (refills Classic, Max, or International Mobile Internet, 5 to 100 euros)

On the smartphone itself, marketed without any subsidy of 50.90 euros for Orange, it is a white label model that works with Android KitKat (4.4). With a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 points, the Rise 30 embeds an internal memory of 4 GB expandable (micro SD) and has a 2-megapixel sensor. The device is limited to a 3G + compatibility with mobile networks.
