A third update for Windows 10 … – ZDNet France

This is the third update for Windows 10 just over two weeks after its release. Labeled KB 3081438, this new series of patches is supposed to provide a solution to Windows Store access problems some users have suffered in recent days.

Supposed because in reality, Microsoft does not provide details on the contents of this update or the previous matter. Our colleague Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet.com is astonished this new practice lacks transparency stressing that is not even possible to have any concrete information from the publisher itself.

Just has she received confirmation that the latest update fixes the problem accessing the Windows Store and certain downloaded applications. The journalist says however that his own machine which was affected by this bug has recovered to operate normally before it receives the update.

With Windows 10, Microsoft changed its system Update ensuring that all elements are delivered and installed via Windows Update without the possibility for the user to sort. We must now accept in any block without even knowing what one receives. (Eureka Press)
