After introducing us to his dog robot February, Boston Dynamics is back with a revised version of Atlas, its humanoid robot. To test the capabilities of its last born, able to stand on two legs, adjust its speed but also to adapt to the terrain on which it operates, the subsidiary of Google took the robot to make a walk in the forest.

On the images of the tour, you can see Atlas manages, despite the slope, to keep the balance. Connected to a cable, small steps forward in the middle of the forest and finally manages to trot and even running. Eventually, Boston Dynamics wants to develop a robot that can help men in their daily lives, including carrying heavy loads or performing specific tasks simpler Digital Zone .
