Chromebook Pro : Samsung makes a step towards the Android apps – ITespresso.fr

A computer type portable Chromebook Pro signed Samsung seems to have appeared by mistake on the Internet sites of retailers (Adorama and B&H), as well as on the own site of the high-tech manufacturer from south korea.

Samsung has opted for a processor with ARM technology with 2 cores Cortex-A72 processors up to 2 GHz and other 4 Cortex-A53. This CPU will be paired with 4 Gb of ram while the storage is provided by 32 Gb of internal flash memory, expandable by SD card.

For connectivity, Samsung has provided 2 USB ports (Type-C and a port 3.5 mm jack, in addition to the SD card reader.

The autonomy is supposed to achieve, it, 10 hours on a charge.

Samsung is not the only manufacturer to dig the furrow machines premium evolving under Chrome OS. Google went out of its Chromebook Pixel in the past year, while HP has announced the Chromebook 13 earlier in the year.

With an entry ticket at $ 499 usd, this is a machine equipped with a screen QHD+ (3200 by 1800 pixels) 13.3-inch with finishes and processor Intel Pentium 4405Y clocked at 1.5 GHz, or “Skylake” Core M5 (optional).
