A website and legislation against excessive gambling – Yonne Republican

 

(AFP) – Secretary of State for Budget Christian Eckert announced Monday the launch of a website and unveiled legislation to fight against the risk gambling practices booming

.
 

A note from the Observatory of the Games (ODJ) released in April shows that the number of “problem gamblers in big trouble with their activity” has remained stable since 2010 at about 200,000 people in France. But the number of players having “moderate risk behaviors, which are not yet in the addiction, but could be the target heart prevention campaigns,” has increased by 60% and is about one million French.

 

“There is also a real warning of underage gambling. A 15 to 17 years has played a three times a year, including scratch cards” despite the ban that targets has Eckert noted the headquarters of the French Regulatory Authority of Online Games (ARJEL).
