“Karma” rather than “pay rise”! Microsoft boss was quick to confuse excuses after this gaffe perceived as misogynist.
On the occasion of a conference on women and IT in Arizona, Satya Nadella was arrested by a woman who asked him for advice on how best to apply for a pay rise or promotion. He then said they had to trust “the system” which “provide the as good wage increases.”
He added that “women who do not ask for increase salary had a “superpower” as a “good karma that will come back.”
