With the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung puts his pen giant smartphone to the fore after a Galaxy Note 5 that had not crossed the oceans to Europe. at the time of writing this test, Samsung has suspended shipments of the Galaxy Note 7, due to several cases of defective batteries that exploded or caught fire during loading. The test we offer was made from a phone that did not cause us any problems so, while we used and recharged several times between Monday 29 August and Friday, September 2nd. We note the Galaxy Note 7 which is, in absolute terms, a very good product if you exclude this manufacturing defect, which we do not know the extent at present. Sales are anyway stalled, we recommend you wait until these technical problems have been satisfactorily answered by Samsung.
The Galaxy Note 7 at first glance, is a Galaxy S7 Edge to larger dimensions, but not that much. It is finally happening that 5.5 to 5.7 inch, and the difference between a note and what is considered a “standard” smartphone is now much more subtle that there are 3 or 4 years.
One thing is certain: the Galaxy Note 7 is the result of inaugurated design with the Galaxy S6, S7 and perfected on. The finish is simply impeccable, and Samsung seems to have happened to the ideal dosage curved edges, the front as in the back.
The chamfers of the metal rim ensure minimum adhesion of the grip . Beautiful work, which we can blame the side too “mirror” of the silver model we had in testing. If there is one benefit of the curved screen, plus the associated widgets, it’s this one: allow the slight reduction of the width that makes all the difference in hand. Next, the iPhone 6s Plus – and presumably the iPhone 7 Plus if you believe the leak – seems disproportionate, while its screen is smaller! The Galaxy Note 7 is finally the first of its range to withstand immersion in 1 meter of fresh water, and without stylus, since the latter is also IP68 certified, and that can even write under ! water
the S-Pen has not really changed physically compared to Note 5 with one exception: a polarizer now prevents inserting it upside down, sweeping the controversy of his predecessor . It always pops through a pretty convenient push button when you remember to remove difficulties that the Galaxy Note 4.
Also new on the bottom border, is the presence of a port USB-C. Samsung has finally decided to pass the course, and if it results in the need to market a new helmet Gear VR, we certainly do not complain: the fact that Samsung adopts USB-C will push a little more the Micro USB to the exit.
