No need turning the sled headlights: during Christmas night, the moon will be full light the way for Santa Claus. This is the first time that this coincidence between the full moon and Christmas Eve occurs from December 24, 1977 38 years before reviving this festive astronomical conjunction, it will be in 2034.
According to NASA, the full moon will be best seen from the American continent from Europe, where the Moon will reach its maximum size at 12:11 on 25 December. Sunlight should spoil the view of Europeans, while Americans will have the chance to be at night.
