At present, if Microsoft Edge is acclaimed for its speed, it suffers from a lack essential for many users: support valuable extensions. But this should change in the coming months Microsoft has promised. And some publishers are already hard at work.

In a page announcing the arrival of extensions put online by mistake by Microsoft on December 10 and since withdrawn, one was able to see two, proposed by Pinterest and Reddit, were already ready. But EYEO, Adblock Plus publisher, has already announced on its website that a version of its extension for Edge was being prepared.

And given the number of computers running now under Windows 10 (110 000 000), no doubt that other publishers should quickly come to join these “precursors”.
