For some years now, Samsung likes to enjoy the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona to announce its new high-end smartphone. This year, the Korean giant should respect this tradition by unveiling its S7 before the exhibition.
According to SamMobile , the Unpacked 2016, that name should include the Samsung event, could even stand on February 20, two days before the official opening of the MWC. This is Luchkov Ivan, who had already given the date of a similar event held for the Galaxy S5 in 2014, who advanced this calendar precision on Twitter, without specifying its sources. Last November, another rumor reported a February 21 announcement.
The approach of S7 packed the rumor mill. Will there a screen that handles pressure? He will reintroduce a microSD card reader? He will embark finally a retinal sensor? Patience, the answers are almost at hand.
Meanwhile, it seems that Samsung is relatively cautious for the first steps of its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Initial production should provide five million units, according to Reuters. The classic 5.2-inch model should account for 3.3 million units, while the curved screen 5.5-inch smartphone would account for 1.6 million pieces.
