Miscellaneous Facts A supervisor brigadier was held hostage to 17h by two inmates of the prison of Saint-Maur, Indre, according to prison officials in a statement.

A 31-year-old sergeant supervisor was made hostage around 16.45 by two inmates of the prison of Saint-Maur in Indre while prisoners back to their cells.

According to information obtained by myTF1news, the three men are entrenched in an office and are very quiet. They have so far not made known their demands.

One of the prisoners is not at its first hostage and the other is considered schizophrenic by the prison administration.

The regional response teams and security (Eris), the GIGN jails ,
have been sent there.

This accommodation intended to accommodate a long sentence convicts was established in 1975. It currently houses 206 inmates for a capacity of 260 seats.
