Rumors announce that the Google Photos should be presented at the Google I / O conference taking place this week. It is already known for some time that photos would come out of Google+ but we did not yet know the exact plans for the Mountain View company. With Android Police website we now know that the application will be called Google Photos, and what it will look like
Google Photos. A neat interface
By disconnecting Google + Google Images gets a whole new interface. The homepage offers 4 icons that in a pressure find photos depicting animals, people or objects. From this screen it is also possible to automatically sort the photos by tag, month or day. The presentation of pictures will follow a grid system. There one can be selected at both by first selecting and then dragging a finger to those we want to choose.
A new Google Photos is the automatic tag. So even if you do not apply yourself tags to your pictures, you can look for from a particular theme. In addition, through facial recognition, you easily find photos of a specific person.
A wizard with onions
Google Photos integrate an intelligent assistant who will create automatically animations, books, collages or gifs. To create an album for example, the application will use the metadata of your photos such as location or date. That same assistant will also offer manual controls for photo editing or cropping for example.
There are also new on the side of sharing photos. By selecting one or more photos, sharing options are displayed. It will be easy to send pictures to social networks but the big news is the possibility to create a link that can be sent via email or SMS for example. The recipients will have access to an album, or shared with the pictures.
Google has so far neither confirmed nor denied this information. It was not until Thursday’s conference to learn more about Google Photos.
