Windows 10 Mobile: Microsoft will check for updates – JDN

Windows 10 Mobile have a update process equivalent to that of the other branches of the OS. A process that telecom operators can no longer influence.

With the Windows Phone, smartphone vendors could eventually decide to bypass certain updates to the Microsoft OS.
