Mozilla has released version 42 of Firefox. It contains important innovations, starting with the new Tracking Protection, whose publisher hopes that it will allow users to better protect against all types of monitoring their online activities.
Now that Firefox 42 is available, users on Windows, OS X, Linux and Android will benefit from the new Tracking Protection. It was presented in August and started from a simple idea: if the user opens an incognito window is that it would also leave little trace as possible. However, this method of navigation is concerned only local traces: no history, no record passwords and so on

The will of Mozilla is to offer a supercharged version that goes much further, cutting as much as possible the ability for websites to track user activity so that the navigation of the latter is relatively anonymous. The ads, analytical tools and other sharing buttons on social media are here directly concerned, as everything will look to reap Data in cookies without informing the user.
Mozilla’s solution ? Block these little respect for the privacy of Internet users. However, be careful: this does not mean that all listed contents will disappear, only those whose behavior is deemed at fault. The functionality is based also on the Disconnect list to separate the wheat from the chaff. But, as we indicated in August, the chosen method lacks finesse as if some clearly abused in this area, tracking itself can be a source of valuable information for web sites, including everything related to the Attendance:. the most viewed pages, operating systems and browsers used, the majority of screen definitions and so on
The editor is aware, however, that block such elements can directly affect the proper functioning of the site. The new coverage by joining another feature that makes its appearance: the Control Center. This name, a pompous anything, is actually a fusion of controls specific to a site. When you now click to the left of the address bar in what should be the area reserved for security information, a new panel allows cutting with a single gesture the protection against tracking. Note that in all cases here that speaks well of a blocking available in incognito mode. The classic surfing is free.
Reporting and simple cut noisy tabs
Firefox 42 also introduces a feature that gradually arrives everywhere: the reporting of noisy tabs, complete with the option to mute the sound of a single click. And the browser is better than Chrome on this point: while the Google browser requires a right click and selecting “Mute tab”, simply by a click on the small icon of speaker.
There are also improvements in several areas, including WebRTC, which is now fully compatible with IPv6. It is also easier for web applications to control equipment used to flow. The password manager also wants more practical, with increased detection in the forms. The import tool also retrieves passwords from Chrome and Internet Explorer.
developers side, we note the support for SS6 Reflect, of the possibility of remote debugging over a Wi-Fi or the arrival of a simulator Firefox OS fully configurable. Also note the full support of both the Source Media Extension.
