Firefox 42: a private browsing mode much more powerful – ZDNet France

The Mozilla Foundation launches this Tuesday the stable version of Firefox 42.0 for Windows, OS X and Linux, it can be downloaded through the usual channels or through the browser update module. Respect for private life of users at the heart of this new version.

Mozilla tries indeed to surf on the fears engendered by
Data leakage of business and to restore its intrusive collection
Firefox in the direction of travel. For the past several months, even
quarter, the share of Red Panda continues to crumble, Chrome
Google has become the number one alternative to Internet Explorer.

Firefox 42 therefore opens the native protection against tracking within
Private Browsing. “This new feature blocks certain
third elements within the web pages used in particular for
record the activity of the user and create a profile
User based on its navigation, “says Mozilla.

And

He continued: “The private browsing in Firefox lets
limit access to data collected by third parties. Firefox also offers a new control center, including parameters
Security and Privacy grouped in one place, and
accessible via the shield in the address bar “.

Specifically, the browser privacy mode can block ads, analytical tools and tracking, sharing buttons, a default protection more powerful as the old private browsing mode.

So,
Unlike Do Not Track that gives out to publishers (it is them
which validate or not the selection of the user not to be tracked), the
new feature to the new control center allows
User actually cover his tracks in browse mode
 Private.
