Samsung created its own browser for virtual reality helmet – WebLife

Samsung did not wait to seize the opportunities offered by virtual reality helmets. His famous Samsung Gear VR helmet is already marketed and can be used very simply provided it with a Samsung Galaxy S6 or a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or 5. The Korean giant seems to want to keep his advantage and has therefore decided to launch its own web browser running the virtual reality helmet.

This browser simply called Internet for VR operates in a 360 ° environment and supports HTML5 videos. In addition, the user will have the possibility to select menus simply by setting through technology “Gaze”. Note that this new web browser will work with Samsung mobile Internet browser for Android. Both interfaces are in fact very similar and export / import bookmarks between the two will be possible.
