Rosetta: the shadow “she counts as a Selfie?” – TF1

Rosetta increased to six kilometers from the comet “tchouri” February 14. Its passage in “skimming”, she delivers an image in which the shadow is visible. At the bottom of the image, on the lunar soil “tchouri” shadow Rosetta stands out clearly at the center of a large circular area centered on her, slightly brighter than the rest of the surface. This is due to the scattering of the light which is amplified by the presence of small particles on the surface of the comet.
