Apple released a stylus, yet Steeve Jobs said “Yuck” – L’Express

One of the few novelties announced by Apple at its Wednesday evening reentry conference has attracted attention but the multinational could well have done this promo. The stylus designed to accompany the sale of the iPad Pro is mocked on social networks. Called “Apple Pencil”, this “pencil” quickly made the subject of some ridicule on social networks.

The US restaurant chain Denny’s has posted on his Twitter account a photo of a black toothpicks background topped by the inscription “Introducing denny’s toothpick” (“Introducing the CURE- Denny’s tooth “).

Steve Jobs: “Who wants a stylus You will not get Yuck?.”

Most importantly, Internet users recall that Steeve Jobs, figure of the Apple brand and co-founder of the company, had categorically refused to produce a stylus off the Iphone. “Who wants a stylus? You will not get. Yuck,” he shouted.

The public who attended this conference does not make a mistake. He welcomed the announcement of Tim Cook for a few laughs.

The marketing of a stylus goes against the revolution popularized by Apple: the touch screen. It is moreover well as Steeve Jobs presented the selling point of the shock Iphone: you no longer need an object that you lose constantly to use this smartphone.

Tim Cook reversal is explained by the need for Apple to be placed in the segment of large format tablets, laptops so says The Verge specialized sites. The Ipad Pro will display a 12-inch screen. In this context, the stylus, sold for the modest sum of 99 euros, becomes more useful.
