Google Glass is reborn but is now called “Project Aura” – Les Echos

Ivy Ross remains at the head of this project and will continue to report directly to Tony Fadell, the boss of the Nest subsidiary that oversees the file since February.

Meanwhile, Google has decided to strengthen development teams. The Internet giant has even appointed a specific person to make the necessary hires. Already, three engineers Lab126, a subsidiary of Amazon, which is the source of most of the innovative products developed by the e-commerce company, were recruited.

As the three new recruits among others worked on integrated streaming technology in the multimedia box Fire TV, or the domestic assistant, Echo, some observers conclude that future “Aura” will offer more such content.
