Office 2016 for Windows finally has an official release date. Microsoft announced that its office suite would be available as of September 22. Preview version available since last March, rumors evoked an outlet for this month. Through a blog post, Microsoft has confirmed the rumors.
This new version will bring a lot of news, such as the ability to edit and save documents online via the cloud, allowing thus the user to access them from any version of the PC or tablet program. It will also be possible to share quickly via onedrive. With this new office suite, Microsoft has added collaborative work. Multiple users will be able to edit a file simultaneously. They will direct the changes and updates of the document made by others.
In his blog post, Microsoft states that license the office suite in volume will be launched a few days later, on October 1 specifically.
At the moment, the prices of different versions of Office 2016 have not been disclosed. Rumors suggest that family and student editions are sold around 130 euros.
