On the smartphone market, the two operating systems compete : Android, developed by Google and is present on many models (Huawei, Samsung, OnePlus…), and iOS, developed by Apple and is only available in the brand. Every year, the analysts shall issue the figures on the progress of the two competitors, and the latest results from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech are quite surprising.. We discover for example that the iPhone 6s, whose faulty batteries of concern to the authorities, is surpassed by the iPhone 7. It must be said that the flagship store offers interesting new features, such as, for example, with its Plus version, a dual photo sensor rather efficient.
Warning, here are the numbers ! In France, Android represents 71.9% of phones against 73,6% a year earlier, a small drop (still significant). IOS is present in 24.5% of users, compared to 18% a year ago. Apple is thus growing more and more with his phone mythical chained performance, design and features powerful for 10 years. And whereas our neighbours, the conclusion is the same, it is in the USA that the results surprise the most. Thanks to the Christmas holidays, Apple has granted 43.5% of smartphone sales !
